A vape device, or vaporizer, is a device that vaporizes e-liquids or other materials to be inhaled. It consists of a battery, tank or pod, coil, and mouthpiece. Common types include pod systems, box mods, and vape pens.
A vape coil is the heating element in your vape device that vaporizes the e-liquid. Coils last 1 to 3 weeks, depending on usage, e-liquid, and wattage. Replace the coil when you notice reduced vapor or a burnt taste.
Sub-ohm vaping involves using a coil with a resistance of less than 1 ohm. This produces larger clouds and requires more power. Sub-ohm vaping is typically done with box mods.
When used as intended, vape devices are considered less harmful than smoking cigarettes. However, improper use (e.g., using damaged batteries or unregulated devices) can be risky. Always follow safety guidelines and use reputable products.
